Balloon Release Remembrance
bulletFamily, friends and other members of the community came together on Sunday, June 1st in Van Vechten park to remember missing teen, Erin Pospisil.
bulletHundreds of balloons with Erin's photo attached where released at 1:00 p.m. in remembrance of Erin.  The event was designed to bring attention to Erin and the hundreds of other children missing in Iowa.
bulletTuesday June 3, 2008 marks seven years since then 15 year old, Erin Pospisil was last seen in front of the home of a friend in the 1500 block of Second Avenue SE.
"Not only is Erin still missing seven years later, we are no closer to knowing what really happened to her than we were on that Sunday night seven years ago," states Carolyn Pospisil, step-mother of Erin Pospisil. "Somebody out there knows what happened to Erin that night. It is our hope that by continuing to hold events in her honor that someone will remember something and come forward with that all important lead that will help us to bring Erin home."
bulletFor more information on Erin, see her complete story here.
